Position Overview
The Senior Business Development Executive is a hunter role focused on acquiring new customers through outbound prospecting and converting them into paying clients. You “eat what you kill”: from identifying prospects to closing contracts, you own the full sales cycle. This role is KPI-driven, requiring persistence in outreach, rigor in pipeline building, and effectiveness in converting opportunities into revenue.
Your responsibilities:
- Market Development & Targeting
- Research and segment the assigned market (APAC/MENA or Germany/Europe) to identify high-potential accounts.
- Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and prioritize key decision-makers for outreach.
- Spot and act on client signals (fundraising, expansion, tech upgrade needs, leadership changes).
- Build and maintain a working knowledge of competitor landscape and market trends to sharpen positioning.
- Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Ownership
- Execute multi-channel outbound prospecting (LinkedIn, cold email, calls, event follow-ups) to generate leads.
- Drive qualified meetings (SQLs) through persistent and structured outreach.
- Build and maintain a personal pipeline of opportunities aligned with quarterly/annual targets.
- Ensure all outreach and pipeline activity is logged accurately in CRM and dashboards.
- Sales Conversion & Account Ownership
- Run discovery sessions with prospects to uncover pain points and priorities.
- Apply solution/value-based selling to demonstrate how EastGate’s services solve client challenges.
- Work with Presales to shape tailored proposals and quotations, ensuring timely and client-ready submissions.
- Lead proposal presentations, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Manage post-sale commercial obligations for your own accounts (feedback cycles, invoice tracking, milestone follow-up).
- Grow acquired accounts into repeat clients through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Accountability & Performance
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: outbound prospecting → qualification → proposal → negotiation → contract → commercial follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with presales/sales processes (data accuracy, file storage, approvals, cost calculator).
- Deliver accurate forecasts and maintain visibility on your pipeline and contracts.
- Track and achieve KPIs across meetings, SQLs, pipelines, contracts, and revenue.
- Set an example for junior BDs by demonstrating outbound consistency and results-driven discipline.
The ideal candidate:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience with proven success in outbound prospecting and closing deals.
- Background in IT Outsourcing, Software Development, or Technology Consulting strongly preferred.
- Skilled in running discovery conversations and applying solution/value-based selling.
- Comfortable with CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound automation tools.
- International sales exposure (APAC/MENA or Europe) required.
- Strong English communication and negotiation skills (German is a plus for Europe).

- Flexible working time: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, No Overtime (Only 8 working hours)
